AWS DMS Schema Conversion announcement

Up until now the AWS Schema Conversion Tool (SCT) and the Database Migration Service (DMS) have remained as separate installations. The SCT downloaded and installed on a local desktop or server, & DMS as a service available from within your AWS account.
The latest version of DMS is now the AWS DMS Schema Conversion incorporates the Schema Assessment and Conversion within DMS.
Not all sources and targets are fully supported , as opposed to range available on the desktop SCT , but there are plans to keep adding a wider range of sources and targets.
